Prescription For Happiness

Prescription for Happiness is an opportunity for beginners to discover The Work and for others to go deeper and experience the wisdom of the living turnarounds.
About Roxann: She is a certified facilitator with over 24 years of experience in doing The Work.
Schedule: Friday May 11th 7-9pm Saturday 9am-12:30 and 2pm-5pm Sunday 9am-12:30 and 2pm-4pm

For new and fairly new people to The Work, we suggest that you read Loving What Is by Byron Katie, go to www.thework.com and listen to/watch Katie doing The Work, download the Judge Your Neighbor worksheet from the website and "practice", and/or have a session with someone in The Work. All are welcome regardless of experience and you may find some introduction to The Work useful.
What follows is some general information about the weekend:
Please plan to arrive for registration between 6 an 6:45pm. The workshop will begin promptly at 7pm. We'll finish Friday night at 9:00 PM.
The workshop is being held in The State Room at The Center at 35 State Street in Northampton, MA 01060.
A few notes about the venue:
We ask that you leave your street shoes in the coat and shoe room upon entering. Please bring socks or slippers and dress in layers for your comfort if you like.
Please note there will be only bottled or covered water containers in the workshop space. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave for your use if you bring lunch with you. Spring water is available in the kitchen area as well. The State Street Fruit Store is located 2 doors down from The Center and has coffee and a large variety of teas available.
Lunch will be on your own from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. (Hours may shift slightly)The State Street Fruit Store serves salads, sandwiches and many other take out items. There is also a large variety of wonderful restaurants within a very short walking distance.

Directions:
From Boston and East:
Take Mass Turnpike West (I-90) to exit 4 (I-91 North) to exit 18. Take a left at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 5. At the first light (approximately 1 mile), make a left onto Main Street. At the next light make a right onto State Street. The Center at 35 State Street is just past "Fly By Night" Furniture Store.
From Albany and West:
Take Mass Turnpike East (I-90) to exit 4 (I-91 North) and follow from above.
From NYC, Bradley International Airport, and South:
Take I-91 North (to Massachusetts) to exit 18 and follow from above.
From Vermont and North:
Take I-91 South (to Massachusetts) to exit 20. Merge onto Route 5 & King Street. Make a right onto Main Street. At the next light make a right onto State Street. The Center at 35 State Street is just past "Fly By Night" Furniture Store.
PARKING
***DO NOT park in the "Fly By Night" Furniture Store parking lot - there is parking on the street or you may find parking in the church parking lot located directly across from The Center at 35 State Street. There is also a parking garage located behind Thorne's Market place which is located on Main Street.
Please enter the workshop space at The Center at 35 State Street from the driveway to the left of the building - there is a sign that says "The State Room"
