Event
Whale watching
Ahoi me hearties!
The CPA is hosting another whale watching trip with the fine folks of Newport Whales (http://www.newportwhales.com/) on February 26th. Our ship, the Ocean Explorer, sails at noon from Newport Beach for a two and half hour trip full of grey whales, dolphins, and other amazement. The price of this trip is a bargain of $15. We are allowed to bring our own food, but not alcohol which will be available for sale on board. Also as we have ordered a big boat, please feel welcome to buy as many friends as you wish. On the other hand, this is a first served event, so once we fill up the boat, it is full (up to cancellations).
We plan to organize a car pool for the transportation from and to Caltech to the event. According to Google Maps the drive is a little over an hour. This means one would need to leave Caltech around 10 am and be back by 4 pm.
As an additional warning, the Pacific is never really warm, so I recommend wearing some level of warm clothing.
Some parent relevant information: - Children under the age of 5 are free. - Strollers are usually left in the office. - Food is allowed on the boat. - The crew is used to deal with children.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at helge@caltech.edu.

Question: |
Hi,
I would like to buy two adults tickets but I can only order child tickets. Does that mean there are no more adult tickets?

Sorry, there was a typo in the date to start ticket sales. This has been fixed and you should be able to buy tickets now. Thanks for pointing this out! |
