Event
Jazz + Sushi
On Friday, February 17th, 2012 the historic Lockerbie Central building will be host to Jazz + Sushi, a fundraiser to support Earth House and one of its most anticipated events every year. From 7pm - 11pm on location, Earth House will build on its reputation as a venue for excellence in the arts with this swanky, 50s themed event that features life jazz from the Jesse Whitman Trio, sushi from Indy's best and most celebrated sushi restaurants, and, of course, a delicious selection of wines. There will also be a contest for best 50s attire which will look great as you get your picture taken in the photo booth provided by Kelley Jordan Photography. The Earth House Collective is an Indianapolis community hub that collaborates with local organizations and artists to support the arts, encourage healthy living and promote sustainable community. Partnering with Lockerbie Central UMC, Earth House features all-ages concerts, films, dance and theatre performances, an art gallery, classes, social forums, a fair-trade, local and organic cafe and restaurant and unique programming like the Pay-What-You-Can meal and the Indy Free Market.
