KEXP's Audioasis and SPACECRAFT Presents Brothers From Another + Travis Thompson at SPACECRAFT
Two MC's and one DJ. Cole, Isaiah, and Beeba make up the Seattle-based hip-hop trio Brothers From Another. These Seattle Summer Kings, known for their feel-good sound and dynamic live performances, are already a staple in the Northwest music scene and are beginning to make a name for themselves on a national scale.
After meeting in high school and opting for the recording studio over midterm study sessions, the group has gone to release over 6 EPs, has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in hip hop including Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore, and has toured the country with Seattle based artists Sol and the Blue Scholars.
Upon graduating from college in May of 2014, the group chose a different path than the majority of their classmates and embarked on an incessant journey to provide good vibes and backyard BBQ weather to masses around the world. As far as entry-level positions go, BFA's post-grad work speaks for itself they have released several singles that have garnered over 450,000 plays on SoundCloud in less than six months.
Travis Thompson is a 19 year old spoken word poet and rapper from Seattle, Washington. He recently released his debut EP' Living For The Future' that has quickly garnered him a following in his hometown and across the country. He is liked most for his humorous self deprecation, brutal honesty, and simple yet meaningful wordplay. You can probably find him somewhere in Seattle eating tacos and/or saying something ridiculously out of pocket.
