The Playwrights Center of SF -- Master Class with Megan Cohen
Ten Minutes Or Less -- short form theater with Megan Cohen
How quickly can you get a laugh? How quickly can you break a heart? Examine the poetics of short form theater, and learn techniques to make a big impact on audiences in a small amount of time. We'll brainstorm, iterate, talk, and write! You'll walk away from this intensive session with a full draft of your own all-new short play, plus a generative toolkit that will spur new ideas for months. Bring a notebook and a pen, and let's be honest: you'll probably want to have a cup of coffee first.
