The VSBA Fall 2015 Meeting is being held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave, VA 24486. This is just south of Harrisonburg, VA. Directions: http://www.brcc.edu/maps/.
Speakers include Dr. Ernesto Guzman from the University of Guelph, Canada, presenting "Basis of selective breeding for the honey bee" and "Microbes, natural oils and nutraceuticals to sustainably control parasites in honey bee colonies". Dr. David Tarpy of North Carolina State University will present "Better queens, better colonies" and "The Queen & Disease Clinic at NC State University"
Vendors will include Geezer Ridge, Dadant, Valley Bee Supply, and others. Also, each registrant is eligible for a door prize.
Lunch is available for purchase from the host club, Shenandoah Valley Beekeepers Association. Lunch consists of pork barbecue sandwich, side dishes and a drink. Lunch is $8 with Early Registration, or $10 with Late Registration or at the door.
Registration through this site is available to current VSBA members and expired/non-members. Payment is by credit card. Prices are the same as for mail-in-registrations, with a discount for current members. Early registration here is until October 16, 2015. Late online registration is October 17, 2015 through October 30, 2015.
