BUCKMINSTER FULLER LIVE! Performed by Noel Murphy
BUCKMINSTER FULLER LIVE! "Call me Trimtab!" Performed by Santa Cruz's own Noel Murphy, You may remember Noel Opening for Bill Cosby at the Civic in 2011. This Show is part of Noel Murphy's Kickstarter fundraising campaign to complete his film The Last Dymaxion! (www.DymaxionFriend.com) This performance has been created through collaboration and conversations with Buckminster Fuller's students, devotees, and visionaries. R. Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller was an author, designer, futurist, inventor, and visionary. Throughout his life, Fuller was concerned with the question "Does humanity have a chance to survive lastingly and successfully on planet Earth, and if so, how?"
"The one-man show, "Buckminster Fuller LIVE" is brilliant. It is the brainchild of Noel Murphy, who created it in collaboration with friends of the late Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller. Mr. Murphy wrote the script and brought Mr. Fuller to life with razor sharp wit and boundless energy. Mr. Murphy was able to convey Mr. Fuller's futuristic ideas and ideals, and infuse them with a subtle sense of urgency about the future of the planet (which we think Mr. Fuller would applaud). This is a show not to miss. It is entertaining and provocative."

"Noel Murphy was stunning as Buckminster Fuller, blending history, concepts, and audience participation into a very full couple of hours. The show is so richly conceived that I want to return several times to catch what I'm sure I missed. If you're a fan of Bucky find this show."
KZSC "Simple, elegant, beautifully written and inspiring - a must-see event!"
Kara Herman

Kelly Evens
"I really loved Buckminster Fuller LIVE! Noel was brilliant, and I did not know that we had an actual power outage until after the performance was over. I thought it was part of the show!"
Sofania White "Of course I'd not personally met Buckminster Fuller but it seemed to me that Noel totally embodied his persona and demeanor. I felt transported and in awe of the level of information given so passionately and flawlessly! At times it was challenging to keep up with it and occasionally I would come out of this trance-like state and wonder....what the heck did he say?"
