Beyond Ghosts: Paranormal Investigations in Gettysburg!
April 27-28, 2012- Beyond Ghosts is back to America's most haunted location, Gettysburg! We had a great time last fall when we went, and we are going to make this trip bigger and better than ever! This time we have four locations to investigate. We hope you can join us down in Gettysburg where we have gotten the best evidence and paranormal activity out of all the places we have ever visited.

LOCATIONS

We are back at the Soldier's Museum which one time was a Children's Orphanage. This place has the unfortunate history of children being beaten and locked up in the basement. This building is haunted by the caretaker Rosa Carmichael who chained children down in the basement. We will have access to the basement, first floor, and this time we also will be able to investigate the wax museum portion of the building where Ghost Adventures captured paranormal activity!

For the first time, we will be investigating the Hall of President's building which was also featured on popular Paranormal TV shows like Ghost Adventures. Before this building stood, it was a burial ground for dead soldiers from the battlefield. The area now looks like a busy street, but back during the Civil War, it was the outskirts of Gettysburg and only had a homes spread out. Another claim is that this building is haunted by the woman who has owned the building from it's construction until her death. She seems upset that her home became a tourist attraction since her passing. Most activity seems to happen in the basement where bodies where buried before they were moved in to permanent cemeteries.

Another locations we are excited to investigate is the Hoffman Mansion! The Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center is built upon a 123 acre dairy farm once owned by the Hoffman family. The Hoffman's original barn and farmhouse still stand on the property near Emmitsburg rd, the approximate battle line of Pickett's charge during the battle of Gettysburg. The Hoffman Mansion sits on the front of the property, and during the battle of Gettysburg was used a field hospital for the union army during and after Pickett's charge. This large estate is perfect for paranormal enthusiast, because it has many nooks and crannies to explore. From the dark corridors of the basement, to the labyrinth-like upstairs, the mansion is full of intrigue and mystery. Even the appliances still have their warranty stickers, as nobody has lived in the house long enough to remove them.

Finally, we investigate the Widow's Cottage. The Widow's Cottage overlooks the Soldier's National Cemetery, which was established to pay tribute to those who served here in Gettysburg during the Civil War. Rows and rows of white stones mark the graves of the unknown soldiers. It is thought by many that our Widow's husband is among them, as there have been countless reports of her wandering the grounds searching for her beloved, a search that continues to this day. Inside the cottage a shadowy figure has been caught on film and seen by the naked eye. This home is just 3/8ths of a mile from the location of General Meade's headquarters in 1863. A tarnished locket with a faded photo was found on the cottage grounds that we believe may have belonged to the widow herself.

ITINERARY

During the two days we also will schedule a battlefield meet-up where we can do some audio evp sessions of our own. We also will be scheduling a creepy candlelight tour to learn a little more of the history and hauntings of this little town. Finally, we will schedule a dinner get-together at a local restaurant to just hang out and relax. An official event itinerary will be sent and posted as the event gets closer. Events and times may change.
