By George! The Life and Music of George Frederick Handel
The works of George Frederick Handel (1685-1759) have enjoyed immense popularity over the years. His music is timeless and classic, able to reach audiences young and old. Soprano Jenny Spence, baroque flautist Joshua Romatowski, baroque cellist Laura Kramer, and harpsichordist Henry Lebedinsky present a program of music by England's greatest German composer of Italian-style music, from intimate sonatas to passionate cantatas - including music that Handel would later recycle as some of the most beloved choruses in 'Messiah.'
Admission is $20, and includes a complimentary house beer or glass of wine. Find more information at www.nakedcitybrewing.com or www.emuseattle.com.
