Merrimans' Playhouse Jazz Performance Series presents The Alyssa Allgood Trio
The Alyssa Allgood Trio specializes in original compositions and modern arrangements of jazz standards, with an emphasize on vocal improvisation and high-energy music. The band has performed at many music venues in the Chicagoland area, including Fitzgerald's, Uncommon Ground, Jerry's and The House Pub. This group recorded an EP under Alyssa's name that was released in January 2015. The recording received a 4.5/5 star rating on All About Jazz.
