Oberhofer at The Luminary
The Luminary presents Oberhofer on Friday, April 27th as a part of the monthly Elevator Music Series. Charmingly skewed and ramshackle, Oberhofer's classic, melody heavy indie rock sound manages to meld Brian Wilson sized hooks with expansive instrumentation and kooky, unpredictable song structures. The intense production mixes programmed drums with jittering live percussion and centers his exuberant yelps amongst keys, xylophones, whistles and washes of wall of sound guitar.
