File Requirements: Under 1GB Under 10 mins Quicktime h.264 Playable with VLC media player (test your own files in advance) Clearly labeled on a USB thumb drive (will be returned) Film file in an easily accessed folder (/NWFF) 8pm: Vertigo Bird and Vašhava Two pieces from the Slovenian dance group, En-Knap, Vertigo Bird and Vashava use modern dance to more closely examine industrial labor and working life. Performing in Eastern European mines at the height of their profitability and after their abandonment, the juxtaposition of dance and space, industry and art, creates startling imagery. Bodies and spaces move to their own mysterious ends, in both work and play, and the result are films of unmistakable orginality.
