JM Productions and the Common Market Restaurant of Quincy, MA proudly announce "BEST OF BROADWAY" A MUSICAL REVUE DIRECT FROM NYC on June 17TH and 18th that will end our 2015/2016 season. The musical revue stars and is directed by Mr. Michael Ryan, former Braintree resident, direct from his National Tour of Disneys Newsies who will be joined by three additional New York City guest performers.
JM Productions guarantees that when Michael Ryan or one of our other New York City singers belts out a number from our Best of Broadway musical revue audience members will be groovin' in their seats and singing along to the familiar and beloved Broadway material.
"We wanted to present truly first-rate musical talent, in Quincy and so we are bringing the musical revue Best of Broadway, a sampling from Broadway hits over the past 75 years," John McDonald from JM Productions explains "After all, who doesnt love Broadway music?"
Michael Ryan assembled a professional cast to perform in the 70 minute musical revue to be staged live for our loyal audiences. "I asked Michael to create this revue for Quincy with hope of moving the show to other parts of Massachusetts including Provincetown and Ogunquit, Maine says McDonald.
NYC professionals joining Michael Ryan in Best of Broadway include Tommy McKiernan direct from Disney Cruise Lines (Peter Pan) and the Seussical National Tour (played: The Cat in the Hat), Susie Gannon, Backup singer for Andra Day (Seen on Late Night on Stephen Colbert, Live with Kelly and Michael, The Wendy Williams show and more) and Julia Franklin from her engagement in Singing in the Rain (Kathy) at Park Playhouse, Babes in Arms (Musicals Tonight) at Theater Row & Oceania Cruise Line!
JM Productions latest productions in Quincy have included "What Christmas Means to Me," which drew more than 200 people last year, and "Sentimental Journey," a USO-style show for Veterans presented in April to SRO audiences. Our brand new matinee series has taken off and has been wildly successful.
