SF Best Up-and-Coming Stand Up Comedians
More than five comics converge at SF Down Town Comedy three times per week to create tons of laughter and mayhem courtesy in the city. Participating comics represent different nationalities and countries from around the world, including Africa, India, Trinidad and New Jersey (that's right, New Jersey). Many of the comics were born in the United States, some of the comics grew up in foreign countries, and almost all of them will be providing excellent comic representation as African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, Gay & Lesbians, and other cultural backgrounds. Proceeds from this event will go to organizations that provide school supplies for young refugee children in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and elsewhere around the world.
