Make no mistake! PETER And The TEST TUBE BABIES have written some of the best Punk songs ever. In the early '80s they stood out, above all other bands to emerge, with their tales of the hazards of being young Punks in Brighton - "Banned From The Pubs", "Intensive care", "Run Like hell", the list goes on...all had the Test Tubes hallmark, combining personal experiences, real cool tunes and, most important of all, maintaining a great sense of humour. You have maybe heard of the band from Los Angeles, The GENERATORS, you might have even seen one their records in a record store or maybe you have seen someone wearing one of their T-Shirts. With all that said they still might be a mystery to you, but that's all right, and that's why we are here to fill in the gaps for you on the band that has been named by America's leading news publication, the... US News as " The most underrated punk band in America." GUITAR GANGSTERS started life in 1988 when punk in the UK was almost illegal and have determindly dodged commercial success ever since! Seven studio albums and two live albums are testimony to the band's belief in the power of first generation punk, preferring anthems, melody and well crafted songs to the flat out speed and nihilism of newer bands on the punk circuit. EMBALMERS are a meld of Garage, Punk, Rockabilly and Psycho. A little bit of Hasil Adkins, Roky Erickson & The Cramps a la EMBALMERS. EMBALMERS are krypt keepers living on the beach, a B-episode of The Munsters meet The Trashmen for a ghoulish day of surfing, partying and debauchery. If jazzy riffs and synchronized jump moves combined with a degree from The Juliard School of Music is what you desire? then this is definately not the band for you, but if you're looking for a good old fashion down the middle fun time! Dancing, hooting and shaking what Yo momma gave you, then this is the band for you! so sit back! smile! enjoy a few stiff drinks with some friends and loved ones! and Please!!!! enjoy the show!!!!!
