Steve Gates and his trio have just finished touring his EP which was produced by John Critchley (Elliott BROOD, Dan Mangan) and features Catherine MacLellan, Rose Cousins and now are gearing up to release his full-length debut record which features the same producer and many more great artists (Jenn Grant. Danny Ledwell, Acres and Acres)! He has performed at Festivals from Dawson City in the Yukon to Halifax's In the Dead of Winter Festival and will be in the festival circuit this summer across Canada and will be making a splash in the U.S. (including the show here at the Armory). With harmonies reminiscent of "The Band" and the ambience of a Lanois record; Gates, Pope and MacKay will be touring "A Bee In Her Mouth" across North America and select European cities throughout 2012.
