Color Theory Composers Forum (90 minutes)
David Ludwig, a highly accomplished composer and the Curtis Institute of Music's Dean of Artistic Programs, moderates a panel discussion with Color Theory Composers Steven Mackey, Ken Ueno, and Stratis Minakakis. This panel is presented to enrich the artistic practices of Philadelphia-area composers by exploring orchestration concepts/techniques used in the creation of Color Theory commissions, as performed by PRISM, So Percussion, and Partch. (For composers at all stages of their studies and careers.)
This event is FREE, but tickets are required as participation is limited.
