Looking Through A Glass Onion: Deconstructing The Beatles White Album
"I found Scott Freiman's Beatles presentation seamless and compelling never ponderous or pedantic. His ability to integrate the visuals and the music made this prose writer jealous as hell."-- Jonathan Gould, author, Can't Buy Me Love
SAN FRANCISCO, CA Throughout the Sixties, The Beatles revolutionized popular
music with their groundbreaking songs and production. Composer, producer and
Beatles expert Scott Freiman will take music fans young and old on a magical tour
through several Beatles masterpieces in his "Deconstructing The Beatles" presentations
throughout California beginning on February 6.
"As a composer and producer, I have always been fascinated by the Beatles innovations
in songwriting and recording," said Freiman. "It is truly exciting to listen to songs we
know so well evolve in the studio. There's a reason why the Beatles' music continues to
strike a chord with new generations of fans, 40 years after their last recording."
Using rare audio and video clips, as well as anecdotes about the creation of the songs,
Freiman's "Deconstructing The Beatles" presentations explore the groundbreaking
production techniques that make the Beatles songs still resonate nearly fifty years after
they were first recorded.
Making their California premiere are the multimedia presentations "Deconstructing Sgt.
Pepper", a two hour tour through the Beatles' most well-known album, and "Looking
Through A Glass Onion: Deconstructing The Beatles' 'White Album'".
