ABOUT F*IT CLUB:
This one-night-only event is benefiting F*It Club: led by Executive Director Allyson Morgan and comprised of an up-and-coming group of actors, writers, directors, and producers, F*It Club is committed to providing equal opportunity for all of its members. We hope to build both a home and a community for artists to share, grow, and create. Our film and theatre production company says "f* it" to waiting for opportunity to knock. We are seizing opportunity and making it ours. We want to make work and we want to make it NOW.
ABOUT THE SPRING FLING (2012):
Now in its second year, The Spring Fling is a collection of six world premiere plays on the theme "My Best/Worst Date Ever." This year's writers are Lucy Boyle, Anna Kerrigan, Victor Lesniewski, Isaac Oliver, Mark Schultz, & Anna Ziegler. The show runs April 26-May 13 at IRT.
Last year's production, featuring plays by Brooke Berman, Bekah Brunstetter, Ashlin Halfnight, Greg Keller, Caroline V. McGraw, Isaac Oliver, Mark Schultz & Anna Ziegler, was nominated for three New York Innovative Theatre Awards and was awarded "Best Original Short Script of 2011" for Isaac Oliver's "Come Here."
