2007 Bent Mentor Showcase with D. Blair
Discount when you buy tickets for both nights! Click November 9 to purchase both.
Each year Bent takes the stage to show their latest work and honor an established mentor who has inspired them to write, perform, and live as artists.
Bent students will pierce your hearts and bust your assumptions with their poetry, prose, and genre-defying spoken word. If you're not crying, laughing, or calling your estranged mother by the end of the performance, you're not breathing.
This year's mentor is D. Blair. Spoken word artist, performer, singer, songwriter, teacher, activist, and slam champion, Blair has been touring the country with his one-man show, Burying the Evidence. The Detroit artist will be in Seattle on an all-LGBTIQ stage for two nights.
