I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
"I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" by Joe DiPietro (book & lyrics) and Jimmy Roberts (music)
"Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit."
Don't miss this hilarious, romantic musical comedy at the Jewish Federation Theater Valentine weekend!Show dates Thursday February 9th and Saturday February 11th at 7:30 pm and Sunday February 12th at 2 pm. This show is a series of vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships. With few exceptions, the scenes stand independent of the others, but progress in a fashion designed to suggest an overall arc to relationships throughout the course of one's life. The "first date" scene, will leave you in stitches, as will subsequent scenes dealing with marriage and child rearing. The show moves quickly with catchy tunes that will make you laugh with the realization that these are situations that everyone has lived through, stressed through and survived. Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting, to love and marriage. Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set.
