UTS Presents "Alice Invents a Little Game and Alice Always Wins
By Nick Flynn Directed By Dylan Ward
DESCRIPTION Gideon, a young, failing substitute teacher, is locked out of his apartment. He is joined by sassy 15-year-old Esra, who never can find her mother, and the older, awful Ivan, who may be making moves on Esra. All are trapped under the spell of the mysterious, ageless Alice. The only play by Nick Flynn, a poet from Brooklyn and Houston, "Alice" plays with our ideas of reality, perception, and humanity.
