Jazz Benefit for Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County
Manhattan-based Jazz drummer Karl Latham will lead a trio featuring Nick Rolfe and Calvin Jones in a tribute to jazz legend Thelonious Monk to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County at Michael Anthony's Restaurant, on the waterfront in Jersey City, Friday, February 24. The show will also feature Bryan Beninghove, a local jazz saxophonist, who will lead his own band to start the evening off. Doors will open at 7pm, with the first performance starting at 8:30pm so there will be plenty of time to relax and catch dinner ahead of the show. Tickets will be $20 in advance, $25 the day of the show, and there will be a cash bar. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County.
