2012 Decatur Old House Fair
The Decatur Old House Fair returns with bang for 2012! Located in the newly renovated Courtyard Marriott (former Holiday Inn), this event is the only one of its kind in the Southeast. Learn about wood window repair, researching your house history (bring a photo and we'll tell you the style of your house!), energy efficiency for older homes, and more.
Two fantastic speakers this year! HGTV personality Jodi Marks, co-host of Today's Homeowner, will give a presentation on "Fun Projects to Enhance your Home". Also, Roger Moss, nationally known exterior paint color expert will speak on "Exterior Paintscolors form the 19th Century to the Mid-Century Modern". New this year! We added the "short bites' sessions. 30 minute learning sessions on electrical, plumbing, chimney, aging in place, working with the building inspector, and more.
