The Art and Science of Connection
Do you want to know why you and those around you do the things they do?

Have you been frustrated with yourself that even though you "know better" you find yourself caught in the same patterns again and again?

Do you want to know how true healing happens - not just new ways of coping but real change?

Here's an easy low cost, low commitment opportunity to learn about how our embodied relational brains work and how this can affect your life.

Talk 1: Friday Sept 18th  7pm
How we Heal - The Wisdom of the Body

Everything that happens in our lives - including how our relationships have felt - lives in our bodies. When we are hurt, we develop adaptations that stay with us. This talk will explore the wisdom of this and what we know about how real healing of our relational patterns happens.

Talk 2: Friday Oct 7th  7pm
Safety and Connection

I'll share how healing happens at level of our nervous systems. What helps us feel safe? What allows us to connect? How do our nervous systems respond when we feel unsafe? We will talk about how to cultivate more connection and safety in our lives and for those we care about by attending to our own nervous systems with care and understanding.

Talk 3: Friday Oct 16th  7pm
What is really driving your life?
Implicit Memory

Below the level of our conscious awareness, our implicit, embodied memory is really running the show. Will talk about how this shapes how we feel in certain situations and how we relate to people and the world. We'll explore how it is possible to attune with our implicit experiences and eventually have more options about how we respond when our implicit memories get woken up.
