Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre is a very unique dance company as it is one of the very few companies left that is doing the traditional flamenco presentations and teachings of the Spanish Gypsy and Andalusian Art of flamenco. Much of flamenco has been watered down in the last twenty-five years with a mix of other kinds of cultures. When "new audiences" see flamenco performances today, they think they are seeing "traditional" flamenco. But, when they see true flamenco with its wonderful and traditional costuming, palmas (hand clapping), pitos (finger snaps), and the dancers with authentic costumes from the different provinces of Andalucia Spain they say, "We never see this kind of flamenco any more, or we don't see this kind of flamenco even in Spain!"
