UNED!TED Just DU-Et: Brasilian Nights
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th, 7:30pm www.uneditedartists.org
The Charleston City Paper BEST OF nominated concert series returns to Charleston audiences this fall with a series of its own Best Of's performers from Seasons 1 through 5! Much-loved Brasilian guitarist and singer Duda Lucena kicks off our series of intimate duets and trios with UNED!TED's master of ceremonies, Laura Ball, for an unforgettable evening of song and stories at the historic Woolfe Street Playhouse. Come experience the magic of the ongoing Wednesdays on Woolfe arts showcase as UNED!TED begins its first in a series of four concerts at the Carolopolis award-winning playhouse.
South American rhythms and melodies meet Irish-Gospel-American Folk roots in a concert that promises to have you tapping your feet, singing along, and swaying to the beat of this dynamic duo.
Join us downstairs (ADA accessible) for cabaret-style table seating or kick back from above in the newly renovated balcony. Woolfe Street Playhouse offers $5 patron parking across the street. Additional parking is available in several paved commercial lots on Woolfe Street.
***Show Time is 7:30pm - Feast at one of the many incredible dining establishments along King Street pre-show and join us for liquid refreshment at the Playhouse Bar during the concert.
UNED!TED is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to building culture and community and operating under the umbrella of the Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts. All events during our Season 6 Artist Residency at Woolfe Street Playhouse are ADA accessible.
