Ondas Ensemble: Flamenco Mediations
Since their first concert in 2007 as part of the Chicago Latino Music Festival, the Ondas Ensemble has delighted audiences with their inventive and unique programming of new and historic chamber music. Ondas -- which mean "waves" in both Spanish and Portuguese -- also means "cool" or "latest trend."
This concert features music of Mexican composer Eduardo Gamboa, Astor Piazzolla (Argentina), Souza Lima (Brazil), and Carlos Surinach (US and Spain).
