Folsom Prison Experience :: 44 Years & Still Serving
Can Ya Hear That Whistle Blowin
Back again after last year's SOLD OUT show!!
ONE MORE ROUND & other local talent will perform a special concert to commemorate a turning point in the career of The Man in Black, Mr. Johnny Cash. January 13th marks the 44th anniversary of Cash's historical performance at Folsom State Prison in California. The 1968 concert was recorded live and released, receiving critical acclaim and revitalizing his waning career.
Even now, 44 years later, after being re-released numerous times and converted from vinyl to tapeto digital, the electrifying nature of that performance still stands out. It is that same raw energy that One More Round brings to the stage, not just playing Cash's songs but paying homage to the music and the spirit of the man.
So book your tickets and join the Warden & Prison Guards of Atomic Cowboy in The Fox Hole for this dramatic presentation while you won't be led off to do time behind bars at the concerts conclusion, this show will resonate with the same heart it did 44 years agoand your heart will be satisfyingly aching for all the right reasons !!!
