Beef. It's what's for dinner... and lunch, maybe even breakfast if you're lucky. Celebrate your inner carnivore at Yelp LI's Beef Battle!
The 411:
Taste some of the finest local beef dishes courtesy of your favorite restaurants and Schweid & Sons (schweidandsons.com) as they battle it out for the best beef dish on Long Island! With purchase of a ticket you'll snag unlimited food tastings from all vendors and two tokens allowing you to vote for your Favorite Dish and the Most Creative Dish of the evening. The winning eats will be the recipient of a swanky prize for their restaurant, courtesy of Yelp. We'll also have Notorious R.U.G. on the turntables, Pink Shutter Photo Booths (pinkshutter.com), an Instagram wall, a dope beer garden to enjoy those GSB brews... and more!
Where does my donation go?
Our chosen local non-profit, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (bbbsli.org), who make meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers and children, will be the recipients of 100% of proceeds.

We will be selling tickets to this event for $15 via the link above (on sale starting on 8/20).

About Schweid & Sons:
In the late 1800s, Harry Schweid began selling high quality meats to butchers and restaurants in New York City's Lower East Side, a tradition his son Sam carried on into the 1930s with his Harlem-based butcher shop.
