ERASERHOOD FOREVER 2015
ERASERHEAD'S THE LADY IN THE RADIATOR TO HEADLINE PHILAMOCA'S 2015 ERASERHOOD FOREVER EVENT
You read that right, the headliner for the fourth annual installment of PhilaMOCA's critically-acclaimed David Lynch-themed Eraserhood Forever event is none other than Laurel "The Lady in the Radiator" Near from Lynch's ERASERHEAD. The Lady will perform the classic and often covered song "In Heaven" live with backing from Philly's own Divine Hand Ensemble, a mere week after they perform for the Pope! (And yes, we know that Laurel originally lip-synced the song in the film, but we think that having her sing it live is way more fun).
Full lineup is as follows:
The Divine Hand Ensemble with special guest Laurel "The Lady in the Radiator" Near Led by renowned theremin artist Mano Divina, local chamber orchestra the Divine Hand Ensemble have been enchanting audiences for years with their diverse selection of classical music, modern pop favorites, and original compositions. Their performance at Eraserhood Forever is preceded by shows at The Franklin Institute's Planetarium, Bethlehem's Musikfest, and a special performance for the Pope on the Parkway. The Pope one weekend, the Lady in the Radiator the next, where do you go from there? http://divinehand.net https://www.facebook.com/divinehandensemble
Northern Arms Helmed by singer and songwriter Keith Richard Peirce, the ten-piece band incorporates dark imagery with a musical mystique that hits on jazz, folk, and gospel, and blends it with gothic Americana in the vein of 16th Horsepower, Tom Waits, and legendary Austin cult faves Lift to Experience. http://northernarms.org/ https://www.facebook.com/thenorthernarms http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/music/sycamore-trees-northern-arms/
