Live from the Goldman Theater at the David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way, Berkeley, 10am-noon, SEDGE THOMSON welcomes:
ELLIS AVERY -- named "The Best Writer You've Never Heard of But Should Go Read Right Now" by New York Press, stops by with her second novel, The Last Nude, inspired by the Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka.
NICHOLAS DE MONCHAUX -- brings us Spacesuit: Fashioning Apollo, an architectural history of the Apollo AL7 Pressure Garment, manufactured by the industrial division of the Playtex Bra and Girdle company. Adam Gopnik of the New Yorker calls it "The most delightful and memorable new book I read last year."
VETIVER -- San Francisco's own Andy Cabic leads this popular indie folk group, on tour with their latest album The Errant Charm.
