Day of Mindfulness
The Day of Mindfulness creates a quiet space, much needed in our busy lives, where we can deepen our practice, slow down, rest and water our seeds of calm, joy, compassion and solidity. It is like a mini-retreat.

There will be periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, listening to the Dharma talk, singing Plum Village songs, mindfully eating lunch, Deep Relaxation, Touching the Earth, and Sharing in small groups.

This time we will enjoy also the presence of Vari McLuskie, one of the UK Dharmacharyas (Dharma Teachers)

This Day is for people who already are familiar with the basics of practice in Thich Nhat Hanh tradition, but if you would like to bring a friend /family member who is not, we suggest that they come at least once to the Saturday or Thursday sangha practice beforehand to receive the introduction, as the basics will not be explained on the day.



We will have use of the whole beautiful Tibetan Buddhist Centre, Jamyang  at: The Old Courthouse, 43 Renfrew Road, London SE11 4NA
