Feelings are tricky things, in that contradictory emotions sometimes have to share the same space. It only gets more complicated when the people experiencing those emotions are violently in love. Through bouts of alcohol dependence, interpersonal co-dependence, and attempts to seek independence an answer just might be reached to the question: Is it better to suffer alone? Or together?
