Soul Kitchen is a play written from a compilation of poets, songwriters, and creative writers. The story takes place in a unique restaurant called Soul Kitchen, where the hungry patrons struggling with various challenging aspects of life are too involved in their current circumstances to notice that there is no kitchen or chef here, only a refrigerator with a large sign across it stating "HELP YOURSELF" and a very friendly waiter. They cannot leave until their hunger is satisfied, but continuously order items that feed other needs instead of taking the responsibility to feed themselves something sustaining.
