DePauw Opera: Little Women
Thursday-Saturday, March 3-5 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at 2 p.m. Green Center, Moore Theatre
Louisa May Alcott's Civil War coming-of-age book is brought to musical life by composer Mark Adamo in this DePauw Opera production of "Little Women," directed by Joachim Schamberger and conducted by Orcenith Smith. The outspoken Jo, the story's most vivid character, struggles against her own growth and that of her sisters, knowing deep down that growing up means growing apart and that adulthood will take them away from their perfect childhood home.
General admission: $7 Tickets for seniors, youth and all students are free.
