CYSK Presents: Beat it Lebo! A Farewell Show. The Windy City's Loss is the Big Apple's Problem.
CYSK producer and Chicago comedy vet Mike Lebovitz is moving to NYC to seek fortune and fame, or to live in obscure poverty with his family there. Whichever comes easier. Before he goes, Comedians You Should Know is producing final send-off shows in his honor, "CYSK Presents: Beat it Lebo!"
It will be Mike's final stand-up performance before he hitches up his wheelbarrow and heads East into the Land of the Rising Garbage Smell. If enough people buy tickets, Lebo may actually be able to bring all three of his children along for the move.
The shows will feature a who's who of Chicago comedians who were available for a last minute booking.
Lebo will host and close it out and do a bunch of time in between most likely. Then there will be an afterparty in the showroom 'til they kick everyone out, followed by an afterparty in the main bar till they close, followed by an afterparty in the streets until everyone is asleep, dead or in jail.
The shows are being produced by Comedians You Should Know, a stand-up comedy collective made up of some of Chicago's and Los Angeles' funniest comedians, including Lebovitz.

MORE ABOUT LEBO:
Mike Lebovitz began his comedy career at the age of six with clowning classes at the local JCC. He's been delighting and confounding audiences ever since with his off-beat yet accessible brand of humor. His varied background in acting, directing and improv offers Mike a tantalizing array of levers to pull in constructing his act. He spits subversive turns of phrase and inhabits outlandish viewpoints in order highlight the inherent absurdity of being. That's the fancy way of saying it; mostly he just makes funny faces at the audience.
Mike is a member of the popular Chicago-based collective, Comedians You Should Know. He and his good buddy Junior Stopka also co-curate Señorita Weiner's Top Secret Humor Experiment and Ice Cream Social Club, Chicago's longest-running clandestine, nomadic comedy showcase and the original members-only ice cream social. A burgeoning international star, Mike has offended nostrils in Montreal as a "New Face" of the 2013 Just For Laughs, and in Switzerland where he won the international competition at the 2013 The Montreux Comedy Fest. Mike returned to Montreux in 2014 as the "Godfather" of the competition. He was also featured in the ninth season of Last Comic Standing on NBC.
