Comedians of New York for Afghan Women Writers Poetry Event- 4pm Performance

Female comedians perform pieces written by women in Afghanistan, as part of the Afghan Women's Writing Project in co-production with Magic Futurebox. All proceeds go towards supporting AWWP and its women writers in Afghanistan.

This event will be headlined by Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live).

You will experience the isolation of storytelling for women in Afghanistan. Each performer, in a small, sectioned off space of her own, will delight and inspire you with various poetry pieces

This poetry event features an installation. Please be prepared to stand for 45 minutes.

A small reception and Q&A will follow.
