Ages: 8 years old and up.
Enjoy a guided hike along the beach with time to journal about your experience. Guides will point out common birds found at the beach as well as identify any shells and small beach creatures found along the way. We will consider climate change and its impact on our coastal environments. The hike will begin at twilight and end with a full moon. All participants will be provided with a journal and pen.
This event is a collaboration between Keep St. Pete Lit and Project Shorebird (www.ProjectShorebird.org), a year-long initiative by St. Petersburg Audubon to educate our community about climate change and its impact on shorebirds and our local coastal environments.
