Books Inc. Presents Drew Barrymore at The Castro Theatre!
Award-winning actress, model, producer, director, fashion & beauty icon, and humanitarian, Drew Barrymore discusses Wildflower at a very special event at The Castro Theatre.
Wildflower is a portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges, and incredible experiences of her earlier years. It includes tales of living on her own at 14 (and how laundry may have saved her life), getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross country road trip, saying goodbye to her father in a way only he could have understood, and many more adventures and lessons that have led her to the successful, happy, and healthy place she is today. It is the first book Drew has written about her life since the age of 14.
Drew will be in conversation with Lydia Kiesling. Lydia Kiesling is a staff writer for The Millions and a member of the National Book Critics Circle. Her writing appears at a variety of outlets, including The Guardian, The New York Times Magazine, Slate, and Salon.
Doors will open at 6PM. Seating will be first-come, first-served. A booksigning will follow Drew Barrymore's conversation. Each ticket includes a copy of Wildflower. Books will be distributed to each guest at the event.
Signing Guidelines:
- Drew Barrymore will only sign copies of Wildflower. No memorabilia or photographs will be signed. - Drew will not be personalizing. - No posed photos will be permitted, including selfies. - Candid photos from the signing line will be allowed.
