Honky Tonk Masquerade serves up a dance-inducing gumbo of classic twangy country, hot western swing, and, of course, time-tested honky tonk favorites. The band's five members each has decades of experience playing American roots music, and it shows in their skilled musicianship and engaging performances.

At the musical center of Honky Tonk Masquerade are the voices of Susanne Salem-Schatz and Martin Grosswendt. Both exceptional singers in their own right, their duets and harmony singing are truly special - technically precise, musically inventive, and emotionally compelling. Add Martin's inspired guitar work, Art Schatz's masterful fiddling, Kathy Burkly's powerful drumming, and Michael Harrist's groove-making upright bass playing, and you have the ingredients for a recipe that is guaranteed to please, whether you're sipping your beer to sad country songs or you have your boots out on the dance floor.

Honky Tonk Masquerade isn't merely a cover band.
