American pianist Lara Downes has been called "a delightful artist with a unique blend of musicianship and showmanship" by NPR, and was praised by the Washington Post for her stunning performances "rendered with drama and nuance".

Lara has also developed a profound voice as a producer and writer. Some of her activities include hosting the radio show The Green Room, founding the pop-up concert series The Artist Sessions and the 88 KEYS Foundation, supporting the arts and education. Her writing has been published in Listen Magazine, The Rumpus, Arts Journal and San Francisco Classical Voice.

At GetClassical@Zincbar, Lara Downes presents works by Bach, Schumann and works from her celebrated centenary tribute album A Billie Holiday Songbook.
