Defining Value in Wine
Defining Value in Wine: Great Price Great Quality Mondays, February 6, 20 and March 5 and 19. 7-9PM 18 Reasons
Given the current state of the economy, value is at a premium for most wine drinkers. The series taught by wine expert Pamela Busch aims to give students tips and tools to find and identify high quality, reasonably priced wines in wine shops and at restaurants. Each class will be a mixture of lecture and tasting, and you can expect to taste 6-8 wines per class.
February 6: Sparkling wines February 20: White wines March 5: Red wines March 19: Wines for long-term aging
About the Instructor: As a 20 year wine veteran and long time wine instructor, Pamela Busch has developed a reputation for finding wines from far flung places long before others have picked up on their value. Her focus with Skrewcap, a one-year-old venture, is to educate and turn wine drinkers and those who want to learn about wine onto the joys of wine without having to take out a second mortgage.
