What is Playback Theatre?
Performed in over 50 countries worldwide, Playback is an original form of improvisational theatre in which true personal stories told by audience members are transformed on the spot into theatre pieces by using movement, music and dramatic spoken word. Sometimes a story becomes a myth, sometimes a realistic enactment; some are tragic others are funny . Most are illuminating.
