Remembering California's Bilingual Constitution
Celebrating California's Spanish/Mexican legacy. In partnership with: Society of Hispanic Historical and Ancestral Research (SHHAR)
Featuring Keynote Speaker, the Honorable Edward F. Butler with his presentation,"Our Spanish Allies during the Revolutionary War" and a reenactment of California's Constitutional Debates presented by local Santa Ana students and narrated by HMOC Interim Executive Director Kevin Cabrera.
Also, artist Eddie Martinez will be showing his exhibition of maps of the Spanish colonization of the Americas.
This is a professional learning experience designed primarily for educators working with students in grades 4 thru 12.
Ticket price includes: light hors d'oeurve reception, presentations, meet & greet, live music, and a lesson plan on this subject that supports Common Core Literacy and History/Social Science analysis skills.
