Rochester Oratorio Society presents Mendelssohn's ELIJAH

Hochstein Performance Hall 50 North Plymouth Avenue Rochester, NY 14614 Mendelssohn's ELIJAH Jan Opalach, bass baritone Elena O'Connor, soprano Katie Hannigan, mezzo-soprano Grant Knox, tenor The ROS Orchestra World-renowned bass baritone JAN OPALACH carries the title role in this majestic Biblical drama set to some of the most glorious music ever created for full orchestra and chorus. This performance caps a month-long festival of cultural and artistic explorations entitled "Mendelssohn and his world," ROS's groundbreaking collaboration with the new Humanities Center at the University of Rochester.
