August Chapter Meeting Meeting Topic: "KBAS Case Studies: 9/11 Pentagon Memorial and Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial with an Emphasis on Spatial and Fabrication Collaborations."
The diverse work of KBAS ranges from the first national memorial to victims of the September 11, 2001 attack at the Pentagon to unique spatial endeavors with world-renowned artists and fabricators. Each architectural endeavor strives to combine collaboration, material research and design techniques for maximum social impact.
