-----
Chimera Duo is an english horn and harp duo formed in 2012 with the intent to perform small intimate chamber music concerts reminiscent of nineteenth century salons. Choosing two of the softest, most delicate orchestral instruments, the duo is uniquely suited for this purpose. Whimsical, romantic and atmospheric works shape the ensemble's repertoire.
Lindsay Edwards is the acting Principal English Horn in the Hawaii Symphony. She also holds the english horn chair with the Boise Philharmonic and is Principal Oboe of the Boise Baroque Orchestra and the Opera Idaho Orchestra. She has traveled the world extensively as a member of The World Orchestra. In her free time Lindsay enjoys playing with her pekingese named Wolfgang.
Matthew is the Principal Harpist with the Boise Philharmonic and Opera Idaho and is a permanent substitute harpist with the Utah Symphony, Grand Teton Music Festival, Seattle Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and Anchorage Symphony. Matthew has previously served as Acting Principal Harpist with the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera for the 2013/2014 season. He is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard's Pre College. Matthew enjoys riding his bike, watching independent films, and playing with Lindsay's cute pekingese dog in his spare time.
