Sauce Celebrity Chef Series Luncheon with Gabrielle Hamilton

Join us for a Sauce Celebrity Chef Series luncheon with Gabrielle Hamilton, with a menu inspired by her book, "Blood, Bones & Butter: The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef."
Hamilton will read sections of her memoir in between courses. Tickets are $35 and include lunch* and a paperback copy of "Blood, Bones & Butter," which Hamilton will sign at the event.
Before Hamilton opened her acclaimed New York restaurant Prune, she spent twenty fierce, hard-living years trying to find purpose and meaning in her life. Her memoir follows an unconventional journey through the many kitchens she has inhabited over the years: the rural kitchen of her childhood; the kitchens of France, Greece, and Turkey, where she learned the essesnce of hospitality; the soulless catering factories that helped pay the rent; Hamilton's own kitchen at Prune with its unexpected challenges; and the kitchen of her Italian mother-in-law, linking Hamilton's idyllic past and her own future family.
This event is co-sponsored by Left Bank Books and Sauce Magazine. Chef Josh Galliano of Monarch Restaurant is designing the menu. Additional copies of Hamilton's book will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of Left Bank Books.
