Come get CPDUs, gear up for Spring gardening and meet other school gardeners in Chicago!
This workshop is specially designed for school garden educators and volunteers who want to learn more about how to plan and design their school garden. Whether you're a novice school garden educator or have a thriving school garden, this workshop will help you develop new ideas for integrating school gardens into your curriculum and techniques for gardening with students!
Workshop topics will include:
1. Planning and designing your school garden for all seasons
2. Composting, Worm Composting, Seed Starting, and more!
3. Engaging with the school garden during Winter
4. Sharing curriculum across schools for successful gardening
